Why MWM

A different approach that actually makes sense

    Treat with confidence

Pain-free techniques you can apply immediately and repeat with consistent results.

  • Speed

Learn it today, use it tomorrow

Lab time and live demonstrations mean you walk out with skills, not slides.

  • Patient Experience

    Pain-free functional movement

MWM restores motion without provoking the symptom that brought them in.

  • Measurable Change

    Make real clinical change

Outcome shifts your patient feels in the first session — and that hold.

Who it's for

Workshops a working clinician can relate to

You're a physical therapist, athletic trainer, or chiropractor looking for a manual therapy course that respects your time and your patients.

You want hands-on skills and clinical reasoning from day one — not another lecture deck. You want to leave with techniques you can use on Monday morning without retrofitting them to your practice.

That's every Clinician's Edge course. No fluff. Only practical skills you can apply immediately.

The Curriculum

Five Courses, One Path

A structured progression from first exposure through the Certified Mulligan Practitioner credential — every course taught by an MCTA-accredited instructor.

What clinicians say

Real results, on Monday morning

Therapists from the clinics you know — sharing what they took home from a TCE course.

  • TCE Course Attendee

    Physical Therapist·Physical Therapy Associates

By hosting a class at your clinic, the clinicians come straight to you. That way you can have multiple employees taking classes, they don't have travel expenses, they don't have time away from home, and you all are getting the same information.
  • Alisa Herrera-Set

Physical Therapist·On the Move Physical Therapy in Belmont, California

By far, the Mulligan technique is the one that is the easiest for me to quickly incorporate into my practice, and I find that I have really great results when I use the techniques.
  • TCE Course Attendee

    Physical Therapist·Lane Community College

Feedback has also been overwhelmingly positive, particularly on how accessible Mark makes the content and how applicable he makes it to everyday practice situations and how to solve problems and use the skills the very next day in the clinic.
  • Dr. Eduardo Enriquez

    Physical Therapist·Veteran (USCG ret.)

Mulligan courses are extremely useful and the technique is fantastic and it's going to produce great results in your practice.
  • TCE Course Attendee

    Physical Therapist·Ivyrehab Physical Therapy

Mulligan has made a significant influence on my practice. Sharing with others and helping build other clinicians to have that strong tool and toolbox is just beyond valuable.
  • Lisa Otterbein Bolick

    Physical Therapist·Ivyrehab Physical Therapy

The value I find in the Mulligan concept is the patients really enjoy the fact that we can get some quick outcomes for the patients, and that I've seen really help them to get back to their function quicker.

  • Having taken the all the entire Mulligan concept series with the instructors at the clinician’s edge I was thoroughly impressed. The instructors were outstanding-knowledgeable, engaging and clearly passionate about teaching. Mark and Jennifer were excellent teachers and made sure each of us in the classes were able to properly demonstrate each of the techniques we learned. The classes were well structured combining hands-on learning with a strong foundation in the current evidence and research. I was able to immediately apply what I learned the next week in the clinic with amazing results. I cannot recommend these courses enough!

  • I was privileged to take classes from Mark and Eric in learning the Mulligan Concept. I was certified in August of 2024. It has made me a better clinician and has complemented my previous con-ed as well. I cannot recommend the Mulligan concept enough. Not only have the techniques instructed have helped me, the concept in and of itself has encouraged me to keep learning and developing other techniques as well.

  • I am a certified Mulligan practitioner. The Mulligan courses have been the most impactful courses that I have taken in my career and I recommend all physical therapists take them. Jen and Mark both do an outstanding job of teaching this concept. After taking a course from these instructors you will feel confident in your ability to apply the Mulligan concept in the clinic on Monday with your clients. There are a tonne of continuing education courses out there, you will not regret investing in these.

  • Great course! Jarrod was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept the perfect balance between lecture and hands on application. Everything learned felt relevant and immediately applicable to patient care. I walked away with new skills and a deeper understanding of the concepts presented. Highly recommend.

Common Questions

FAQ

Are these courses MCTA-accredited?
Yes. Every course in our catalog is taught by an MCTA-accredited instructor and counts toward the Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) credential.
Do I need to take Intro before Upper or Lower Quadrant?
No, but it's strongly recommended. UQ and LQ assume you understand the PILL response and the Mulligan principles — Intro covers those without rushing through them.
How do I become a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP)?
Complete Upper Quadrant, Lower Quadrant, and Advanced, accumulate at least 12 months of MWM clinical practice, then sit for the one-day CMP exam (written + practical).
Can I host a Clinician's Edge course at my clinic?
Yes — host clinics receive a discounted seat block and a co-marketed event. See our Host a Course page for the host packet and minimum-attendance terms.
What CEU credits do these courses count for?
Two-day courses are 14 CEU hours. The CMP exam is an 8-CEU credential day. We provide jurisdiction-specific certificates on request.
